Join us for our first event in Austin, Texas! On May 22nd, the SmartThings Developer Relations team will be at the Austin IoT Meetup. Jody Albritton, Senior Software Engineer and Developer Advocate at Samsung SmartThings, will be giving a presentation on "Building a Connected World: Samsung SmartThings Developer Resources & Programs".
Come learn from Jody about the developer resources that are available to our SmartThings Developer Community including the SmartThings Developer Workspace and the Works With SmartThings Program as well as the Connected With SmartThings Program. Here, Jody will emphasize the simplicity of joining the SmartThings’ ecosystem and will discuss ST Schema.

As a Software Engineer, Jody works with other developers, hardware makers, and product designers who are using the SmartThings Platform. He has long been interested in the Internet of Things, both professionally and personally. Jody has well over one hundred connected devices in his own home! In his past life as an IT professional he looked for ways to automate and accelerate processes using advanced technologies. For the past 10 years he has focused primarily on connecting platforms and devices in ways that enhance their stock functionality and bring a little more smarts to their operation.
